When parents separate, it can be a stressful time for the whole family.

Family Works understands how difficult it is to manage conflict and make decisions during the process of separation. We are here to support families in times of need.

Separating and separated couples commonly disagree on arrangements for ongoing day-to-day care of their children. It’s better for everyone if you can resolve this issue yourselves, without going to the Family Court. It’s also important that children’s thoughts and feelings are heard on the matter as this will affect them the most.

If you need help to reach agreement, Family Works will support you at each stage of the process through our Family Works Resolution Service. We can help you reach agreements that are in the best interests of your family, without the time, expense, and stress of going to court.

Our trained social workers and counsellors work for your family to meet their needs and help you find a way through your problems.
